We are currently seeking a Data Validation Specialist to work at our 400 Broadway location.
Position Summary: The Data Validation Specialist (DVS) is a member of the Department of Population Health and will be responsible for validating data using electronic health records and population health management systems. The DVS will support the organization’s data monitoring and validation process to ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Works with clinical and non-clinical users to understand reporting needs, and to ensure that data validation of reports align with project goals. Data Validation Specialist will help to enhance the utilization of patient health data in an effort to improve population health outcomes.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, human services, computer science, or related field or equivalent work experiences in related field – Required; 2-5 years’ experience with an electronic health record preferred. (eClinicalWorks strongly preferred); Knowledge of and experience with Clinical Quality Process Improvement concepts preferred; Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; Detail-oriented, problem solving and organizational skills; Ability to work independently and in a team environment; Ability to stand, walk or sit for an extended period of time; Ability to hear within normal range; Strong verbal, walk or sit for an extended period of time; Ability to see within normal; Extended period of time at a computer; Noise level is moderate.
