Overview

The City of Greenfield is accepting applications for the position of full-time Health Officer/Director in the Health Department.

The Health Officer/Director administers generalized public health nursing and environmental health programs to protect and promote the health of City of Greenfield residents.  This individual is also responsible for the supervision and management of the Health Department.

Required Education and/or Experience

·         Must meet the qualifications of a Health Officer as stated in Chapter 251.06 of the Wisconsin State Statutes.

·         Master’s degree in public health, public administration, health administration or a similar field required.

·         At least three years of experience in a full‑time position with a public health agency, including responsibility for a communicable disease prevention and control program, preferably in a supervisory or other administrative position.
