Monthly Salary Range: $12,368 – $15,033


The Contra Costa County Health Services Department is offering an excellent employment opportunity for qualified individuals interested in the Director, Public Health Clinic Services position. The department currently has one vacancy in the Public Health clinical services operations of the Public Health Division located in Concord, CA. You may be required to occasionally travel to different locations throughout Contra Costa County.


Under general direction, the Director, Public Health Clinic Services, plans, organizes and directs the program activities, administrative duties and the management of case management and clinical programs within the division. This position will work collaboratively with other Health Services Divisions.


Public Health Clinic Services provides a variety of low or no-cost services in our health centers, mobile clinics and at public schools in Contra Costa County.

Program planning, organizing and directing the activities of clinical and case management staff and programs within the Public Health division

Minimum Qualifications:


License Required: Candidates must possess a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California.


Certification: Candidates must possess and maintain a valid certificate as a Public Health Nurse issued by the state of California.


Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.


Experience: Five years of full-time or its equivalent experience as a Public Health Nurse, or Registered Nurse performing Case Management. At least three years of the experience should have been in a supervisory capacity.


Desirable Qualifications:

·         Experience using Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Skype

·         Experience in managing, directing and supervising professional and line staff

·         Experiencing in managing multi-disciplinary teams

·         Experience using electronic health records
