Program Manager – Environmental Health

The Delaware Public Health District seeks a F/T Program Manager for the Environmental Health Division. This position is responsible for managing a share of environmental health programs and supervising unit personnel. This position will assist with the completion of PHAB Standards, program performance evaluation, developing training plans and assisting with a communication plan.  This position will assist with determining needs, planning services, developing policies/procedures, unit budgets, setting objectives, recommending program changes and monitoring and assuring program goals are being met. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively orally and in writing.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree, Ohio driver license, and State of Ohio Registered Environmental Health Specialist registration required. Preferred that a candidate possesses one or more of the following: an Ohio Pesticide License Category 10D, HSTS Service provider certification, Serve Safe Instructor, or Certified Pool Operator.  Three to five years of relevant program experience is required with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

·         Starting pay is $36.05/hr, may be adjusted commensurate with experience.
