Overview

The Delaware Public Health District seeks a Part-Time (24hr/week) Health Professional (Licensed Dietician, Registered Dietician, Registered Nurse, Dietetic Technician Registered, Dietetic Technician, Physician Assistant, or 4 year nutrition/dietetics graduate) to assess and document participant nutritional risks, provide nutrition and breastfeeding counselling responsive to the participants needs and prescribe tailored food packages within the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) unit of the Preventative Health Division.

 

Position will be based out of the Delaware County office but will work in both the Union and Morrow County offices based on the needs of the program.

 

Requirements:

 

Health Professional 1: Associate degree in dietetics, nutrition or other related field required. Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) with a current valid registration required.  Possession of a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance required.  Less than one-year relevant experience required.

 

Health Professional 2: Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition or other related field required.  Dietetics license with state of Ohio required.  Possession of a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance required. Less than one-year relevant experience required.

 

Pay and Benefits:

 

Starting pay for HP 1 is $20.55/hr, may be adjusted commensurate with experience
Starting pay for HP 2 is $25.55/hr, may be adjusted commensurate with experience
