Make your mark in public service. As an accredited public health department, we’re seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Inventory and Logistics Specialist Supervisor within the Division of Health Protection/EM PREP Section.

The ideal full-time, temporary worker will support ongoing activities at the EP Warehouse related to vaccine administration, inventory management, and the COVID-19 Response. Workers in this position must possess the following:

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ability to coordinate and supervise 2-4 personnel
  • Knowledge of Vaccine Packout
  • Good customer service skills
  • Knowledge of PPE ordering & packing
  • Familiarity with PH districts and RCHs
  • Knowledge of Specimen Collection Kit packing
  • UPS Worldship software experience
  • Minimum of Highschool Diploma
  • Experience coordinating with various state agencies
  • Inventory Counting experience
  • Vericor cooler conditioning experience
  • Knowledge of PPE types
  • Vaccine storage & handling experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND Two years of experience in shipping and receiving, One year of which in a lead/supervisory role,
OR
High school diploma or GED AND Three years of experience in shipping and receiving, One year of which in a lead/supervisory role,
OR
One year of experience at the lower level Supply/Warehouse Clerk 3 (FES012) or position equivalent.

Note: Some positions require possession of valid driver’s license.
