This position is vital to the standard operations of the laboratory. The position is responsible for answering all incoming phone calls, and assisting all directors. In addition, the position requires ensuring all vendors and visitors are escorted and accounted for while in the building.

Job Responsibilities:

Under broad supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and recommendations targeted to meet customer expectations. Resolves complicated issues involving customer service and/or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes problems, questions, issues, etc and develops and reports recommendations for resolving them
  • Conducts research to compile information needed to generate reports, complete projects and accurately respond to questions and concerns
  • Provides assistance and problem resolution to claimants, employers, staff, other
    agencies, and/or the general public
  • Researches and/or resolves program or client issues or questions May represent the
    manager in various matters
  • May serve as a lead worker
  • May train subordinate staff in proper procedures of day-to-day operations
  • Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university,


Three years of experience in a customer service setting communicating information,


Two years of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 2 (GST121) or position equivalent.
