Overview
This position will provide breastfeeding support services to the community. This position involves but not limited to the following: Assisting breastfeeding specialist in teaching classes on breastfeeding, visiting women in the hospital, assisting with breastfeeding support groups, counseling women on basic lactation management, being an advocate for breastfeeding women in the health care system, community and workplaces and being a partner with health care professionals to promote breastfeeding.
