Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two years of related experience in data presentation, graphical design, or analysis/evaluation of health, human services related programs or a related field; OR an Associate’s degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data dissemination and graphic design, especially the use of graphical methods to visualize data. Experience in graphical software (such as Tableau, Microsoft, Adobe, ArcGIS, SAS/GRAPH, Photoshop). Data analysis experience.

Responsibilities
The Evaluation Specialist II will evaluate, design and coordinate the graphical presentation of HIV surveillance data directly related to conveying the progress of the Ending the Epidemic (ETE) top priorities, in terms of trends among new infections, diagnoses, and health care metrics. In doing so, the incumbent will evaluate existing analyses for gaps and areas of improvement. The incumbent will develop and produce a range of high visual impact creative custom products designed to share key messages regarding HIV in NYS via infographics, graphical reports, presentations, and other products. The incumbent will work with various types of data to develop creative, innovative, and visually appealing products that bring data to life and will perform other appropriate related duties as assigned.
