This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications Design, Video, or a related field. At least two years of experience producing print and multimedia communication projects. Knowledge of print, digital and audio/video production, editing, and use of specialized design and editing software applications. Experience developing materials and executing multimedia campaigns, both in print and electronically.
The Multimedia Production Specialist will contribute to planning, developing, coordinating, and producing a broad range of multimedia services. The incumbent will provide technical assistance related to editing, graphic design, multimedia production, printing, photography, and exhibit design; troubleshoot and support hardware and software problems that interfere with the creation and/or delivery of content; assist to coordinate the workflow of creative assets through the production release process; contribute toward the establishment of project priorities and production schedules; contribute to negotiating with outside vendors; prepare budget requests and reports; provide design support to appropriate staff; and perform other appropriate related duties as assigned.
