Overview
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health and/or substance use assessments, treatment planning, family counseling, and case management
- Work as a member of a team that includes evidence-based consultants
- Focus on improving family functioning by using evidence-based model, ingenuity, and strong engagement skills
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals served, external stakeholders (e.g. juvenile courts and schools), community partners, and outside agencies
- Attend continuing education opportunities and maintain professional reading
- Develop a working knowledge of community resources for referrals
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work
- LMSW, LCSW, or CSW licensure
- High ethical standards and personal integrity
- Ability to provide care in a culturally competent way & consistently treat all with dignity and respect
- Time management and task prioritization skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) therapist preferred, not required
