The Kansas Board of Pharmacy is recruiting for an Education Development Specialist within the Kansas prescription drug monitoring program (K-TRACS). This is a federally grant-funded position.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Research, develop and deliver one-on-one educational visits (academic detailing) to healthcare professionals on designated clinical topics, using evidence-based materials to complement the presentation.
  • Research, design and implement online, self-paced learning modules for K-TRACS users to increase utilization and uptake of best practices by Kansas healthcare providers.
  • Develop and present workshops and training programs on K-TRACS and related topics to internal and external partners, stakeholders and professional audiences.
  • Maintain and update K-TRACS website, social media, newsletter and other communication platforms.
