The Manager position will be housed in the Data Science and Mission Strategy Office. Under the supervision of the Director, Evaluation, this position will work closely with the March of Dimes market staff in state and municipal locations to develop and manage monitoring, evaluation, and learning for common agenda activities, programs, and initiatives.
Contribute to the planning, implementation, and analysis of common agenda activity monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Lead the development of quantitative and qualitative data collection and analytic plans to assess community needs, project and program impact, and to identify opportunities for learning. Includes but is not limited to: community and partner needs and readiness assessments, surveys, interview guides, and focus group discussion guides.
Contribute to internal data measurement system tracking impact using a dashboard
Engage with stakeholders to support reporting using program targets and indicators. Oversee data collection and entry quality.
Depending on analysis, clean and analyze project and program data using quantitative and qualitative methods.
Support creation of reports and presentations describing market common agenda activities for internal and external audiences. Reports may include, but are not limited to: presentation of analytic findings, visualization of data and findings, and interpretation.
Education and Experience:
5 to 7 years experience.
Master’s degree (Specialized Area: Public Health, Social Work, Anthropology, Sociology, Business or Policy related field).
Doctorate – not required, but a plus (Specialized Area: desired in public health/maternal and child health field and/or quality improvement/epidemiology)
Program Planning and Evaluation, Facilitation Skills, Communication skills.
Proficient at development of evaluation tools (logic models, tools, analytic plans, etc.).
Strong competency using quantitative and qualitative software for analysis.
Proven track record of ability to work with key stakeholders and leaders in a culturally appropriate manner to make decisions and take action around a shared result.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences preferred.
Experience working with IRBs and ethical compliance organizations preferred.
