Overview

We seek a candidate who can demonstrate a commitment to inclusive teaching practices and experience in public health core topics such as, but not limited to, epidemiology, environmental health, public health administration, biostatistics, software applications, and international health. The candidate will be knowledgeable about the use of student-focused pedagogy in the seated and online classroom to engage students in the learning process aiming to increase student retention, persistence, and success.

The candidate will have primary teaching responsibilities in the public health curriculum and may have the opportunity to teach in sports medicine, dietetics, and/or interprofessional health services programs.

We seek a colleague with a research agenda that has the potential for publication/presentation/funding and an ability to draw on this research to inform their teaching and service. Candidates engaged in multidisciplinary, collaborative, and community-based research are encouraged to apply. We also value candidates committed to evidence-based intervention research employing traditional and non-traditional quantitative and qualitative methods.

We seek a candidate who is committed to performing meaningful service on department, college, and university committees; participating in departmental activities; serving their profession/discipline; and completing other related duties as assigned.
