Pace University’s College of Health Professions is seeking a Full-time Non-Tenure Track Faculty Member Position at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or Clinical Associate Professor to join our faculty within the Health Science department. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with educational preparation and experience.

The College of Health Professions is a multidisciplinary health college that has successfully launched nine new programs in the past six years.
The growing Department of Health Science, situated at the New York City (downtown) and Pleasantville campuses, is comprised of 5 full-time primary faculty members. The Department’s faculty address pressing public health and global health issues and are recognized both nationally and internationally for their important contributions to scholarship, education, policy, and practice. The Department’s flagship program, the Bachelor of Science in Health Science, educates 250 Health Science students. A MSc in Health Informatics are slated to begin in Fall 2023 and a Master of Public Health program in fall 2024 . The Department is housed within the College of Health Professions, with faculty members appointed within undergraduate and graduate programs in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, Occupational Therapy, Communication and Speech Disorders, and Nutrition and Dietetics. The current position offers exceptional opportunities for academic and professional collaboration.
The position will consist of teaching courses within the Bachelor of Health Science program and managing the placement of students at fieldwork sites as part of their degree requirements.
The responsibilities of the position include teaching, program/curriculum development, management of the capstone/fieldwork courses with the bachelor’s program including finding suitable sites and managing the application process, student advisement and mentoring, and service to the Program, College, University, and Community as well as support of Pace University’s mission.
This is a 12-month position with a lighter workload in the summer.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of a master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in health science from an institution accredited by a USDE-recognized regional accrediting body.
- Teaching experience in a higher education setting.
- A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness and actively promote diversity
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Experience in teaching hybrid or online courses.
- Experience with managing capstone/fieldwork courses in a higher education setting.
- Academic administrative experience
- Interest in engaging in professional service within the University and beyond.
- Existing connections with health organizations in the NYC or Westchester area.

Established in 2010, the College of Health Professions at Pace University offers a broad range of programs at the bachelor, master, and doctoral levels. It is the College’s goal to create innovative and complex programs that reflect the changing landscape of the health care system.
