The Department of Health Sciences at Rutgers University-Camden Campus invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to start in Fall 2023.
Candidates should have expertise in health sciences and have a PhD or comparable degree currently or by the start date. Applicants may have a disciplinary affiliation with public health, psychology, public policy, sociology, neurobiological science, health economics or other related fields.

This position is part of a cluster of 6 hires to be made over 3 years in support of our newly developed doctoral program in Prevention Science. The Prevention Science and Health Equity cluster is supported by funds from the Presidential Faculty Diversity Initiative at Rutgers University (https://diversity.rutgers.edu/faculty). Applicants should describe how their work relates to Prevention Science (www.npscoalition.org/prevention-science).

Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in health and prevention sciences (e.g., Introduction to Health Sciences, Social Determinants of Health) as well as classes focused on the candidate’s area of expertise. Further, ability and interest in teaching graduate-level methodology and statistics courses in Prevention Science should be described by candidates.
