Overview

We are seeking a Program Manager of Research and Evaluation to contribute to all aspects of developing, implementing, and leading program activities, including: creating project plans, overseeing data collection, managing budgets, and tracking project timelines. The Program Manager may also serve as lead evaluator for projects, conduct descriptive analyses (quantitative and qualitative); assist with research dissemination activities; support the writing of grant proposals and funder reports; and supervise support staff as needed.

The Sinai Urban Health Institute (SUHI) is a unique, applied public health research center dedicated to improving the health of Chicago’s urban communities. Led by a team of committed and energetic social epidemiologists, community health educators, evaluators, public health professionals, and intervention specialists, SUHI uses collaborative and community-driven methods to: understand the root causes of health inequities, and design and evaluate innovative approaches to improving community health and health care delivery. SUHI provides evidence-based examination of population health and health inequities, as well as the effectiveness of behavioral, social, and disease management interventions.
