About the REDi Planning Coordinator role:
The REDi Planning Coordinator will serve as the coordinator and plan developer for Eastern Washington. They will ensure new plans integrate with other regional healthcare and government entity response plans and ensure they meet the State and Federal requirements. The ideal candidate will conduct the annual Regional Hazard Vulnerability Assessment and Resource Assessment for the region. They will maintain situational awareness to identify triggers for HCC activation & response and assist in collecting essential elements of information, serve in Incident Command position during a response, contribute to training and exercise planning, participate in regional and state exercises and after-action review processes.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a field directly related to the individual position (e.g., Planning, Emergency Management, Health Care, Public Administration, Public Health, Business, Nonprofit Management, etc.)
· Three (3) years of directly related experience in any combination of the following: plan & process writing, stakeholder engagement, health care systems, emergency management, program management, quality improvement, public health, project management, community planning or organizing, nonprofit management, etc.
· An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance or the ability to access multiple sites in a timely manner across all eastern Washington.
