The Department of Public Health Sciences at the UConn School of Medicine seeks to fill a 12-month, full-salary, tenured or tenure track position focused on infectious diseases. The successful candidate will have doctoral training in epidemiology and expertise in the analysis of population level data regarding pathogen transmission and mechanisms of infectious disease control. We welcome applications from candidates for senior rank who demonstrate national visibility through an ongoing record of extramural funding and publications, as well as applications from candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor who have completed post-doctoral training and offer evidence of independent scholarship and research productivity. Candidates who combine methodological interests with experience in field epidemiology, data collection and collaboration with public health agencies on the study of emerging infections and population disease control strategies are encouraged to apply.
