The UConn Health School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow. The successful candidate will work on several prospective cohort studies examining the potential risk factors of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis and Cardiovascular Diseases as well as some omics studies (such as, metabolomics, proteomics). The position will have close collaboration with Brown University, Tufts Medical Center and Harvard Medical School.

Responsibilities will include literature review, data management and programming, descriptive analysis and advanced statistical modeling, poster and manuscript preparation, and development of new grant proposals.

Qualifications: Minimum requirements include a PhD / ScD / DrPH in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or other quantitative fields. Individuals with the following skills are encouraged to apply: background in public health or clinical research, excellent statistical and analytic skills (e.g. advanced programming skills using SAS, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, etc.), and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with large cohort studies, knowledge in omics study, and analytical skills using R is preferred.

Preference will be given for someone who can commit to at least 2 years.
