Overview

The University of Nevada, Reno, School of Public Heath seeks a social/behavioral public health scientist for a state-funded, nine-month, tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank starting in Fall 2023. We invite applicants from all social/behavioral public health subject matter areas to apply. This search is particularly interested in researchers focusing on aging or other topic areas that align with current SBH faculty research areas.

The successful applicant is expected to teach at all levels (undergraduate, masters and doctoral courses), develop and maintain an independent program of scholarship, contribute to the growth of the School of Public Health, and engage in University, community, and professional service.

Earned doctorate (PhD, DrPH, ScD) in social/behavioral science or a closely related field, preferably from an accredited School of Public Health.

-For the Associate Professor rank, the applicant must have established an independent research program and have experience in teaching graduate students.
