The Health Branch of the Spokane Mining Research Division of NIOSH is looking to hire a research industrial hygienist or exposure scientist to lead a newly established team focused on improving the health and well-being of mine workers through monitoring and controlling of health-related exposures.  Applications are open to both the general public and current federal employees.  U.S. Citizenship is required.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide professional industrial hygiene scientific support and expertise for designing and conducting research focused on identifying, analyzing, and reporting on emerging industrial hygiene health issues and problems as it relates to occupational safety and health, as well as providing expert advice to agency installations nationwide.
